Care and support

Very often your first contact with church will be when a need arises. We can offer prayer and other practical support when things are tough. This is part of the sharing of God’s love that we are called to as a church. You are welcome to sit in the quiet of the church building which is open during the day to visitors. If you would like to talk to someone you are welcome to call the Rector.

Other specific areas in which we can help are:

· Home visits and prayer

· Home Communion if you are unable to attend services

· Prayer for your situation through our Prayer Chain

Please contact us if you require help with any of these things.

If you have been bereaved and think that we can help either with a funeral, prayer or just someone to talk to, please contact us.

Funerals and memorial services are regularly held at St Peter’s. Our churchyard is open to those who have a connection the parish of Woodmansterne (e.g. by residency, or by worshipping with us at St Peter’s).

An annual Living with Loss service is also held in late October/ early November for those who have lost loved ones.
