Children and Families Minister: Rachel Gardner

Rachel began as children and families minister in February 2015. Rachel has been a member of St Peter's for over a decade and has helped lead Lighthouse Sunday club for nearly as long. Before starting this role Rachel worked in London as a social researcher evaluating a range of projects and programmes. Rachel enjoys knitting, going out for afternoon tea and learning new children songs especially those with actions!

Verger: Doug Marshall

Doug Marshall is Verger at St Peters, responsible (among other things!) for the preparation of the church building for Sunday and midweek activities.
He has lived in Woodmansterne for 46 years, and has been married to Alimoon, a retired nurse, since 1991. Doug has been a member of St Peters since 1963, and has served St Peters in many ways everything from a Pathfinder leader to Sacristan!

Doug is a retired Telecommunications Instructor and Training officer, who also volunteered with the Cardiac Rehabilitation Service at Epsom General Hospital. 

Reader: Susan Knight

Susan Knight is our Reader (Lay Minister). Susan was licensed in 2013 and is a member of the PCC, Outreach Committee and co-ordinates the Prayer Chain. Susan also coordinates our discipleship groups and has led a number of prayer and adult study groups. She lives in Woodmansterne with her husband, Maurice and sons; Philip and Andrew. The family follow different football teams but all support Leicester Tigers Rugby Club.
